Slowness, in wax.
Scentera began as two friends with a thrift-store wax melter and a stubborn idea: that a candle could be a small, daily ritual — not a thing on a shelf.
A studio of three, in Pasadena.
We work from a single sunlit room behind a bakery off Lake Ave. The space smells, depending on the day, like coffee, beeswax, dried roses, or all three at once. Our scents are slow. Our pours are slower.
Every piece is hand-poured, hand-trimmed, and inspected by one of us before it goes into its kraft sleeve. We won't ship anything we wouldn't keep ourselves.
